Asian Games 2023: India schedule for September 27; Check out who’s competing today, live stream details – Magazine Creations

The Indian contingent at the 2023 Asian Games is gearing up for an action-packed day on September 27, where athletes from various disciplines are scheduled to compete. The schedule extends from early morning to evening, promising an exciting experience for Indian sports fans.

The day will begin at 6:30 AM EST, with the Indian teams taking part in the men’s, women’s and mixed team events in the bridge. Around the same time, taekwondo athletes Shivansh Tyagi and Margaret Maria Rigi will also participate in the men’s 80kg and women’s 67kg categories respectively.

At 7:30 am, squash will attract attention as the Indian men’s team takes on Kuwait in Group A, and the women’s team takes on Nepal in Group B. Track cycling fans can also look forward to the participation of David Beckham Elkatohshongo and Ronaldo Singh Laitongam. In the men’s sprint qualifying rounds.

The sailing events scheduled for 8:30 a.m. are worth watching, featuring the men’s ILCA7 sailing medal races with Vishnu Saravanan and the women’s ILCA6 single regattas with Nethra Kumanan.

Basketball fans have something to cheer about, too. The 3×3 basketball event will see the Indian men’s team taking on Macau China at 12:10 pm, followed by the women’s team taking on China at 4:55 pm in Group A.

But one of the highlights of the day will be the performance of Nikhat Zareen, the two-time world boxing champion. She will step into the ring at 5:15pm in the women’s 50kg round of 16 against Chorong Pak of South Korea. There is no doubt that the eyes of the nation will be on her as she aims to continue her legacy of excellence.

Table tennis will conclude the day’s events, with doubles and mixed doubles matches starting from 1:30pm onwards. Athletes like Manush Shah, Manav Thakkar, G Sathyan and Manika Batra are scheduled to play.
