India made its mark at the 2023 Asian Games, excelling in specific sports bringing a total of 27 medals to the country. Five gold medals were won in shooting and one each in cricket and equestrian as of Friday morning.
Asian Games 2023: List of Indian gold medal winners
shooting: The Indian trio of Divyansh Singh Panwar, Rudrankesh Patel and Aishwari Pratap Singh Tomar won the gold medal with a record total of 1893.7 points.
shooting: Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema and Shiva Narwal continued India’s shooting success by claiming gold in the men’s 10m air pistol team event.
shooting: Sift Kaur Samra set a world record to win the gold medal.
shooting: Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh and Ritham Sangwan clinched the gold medal in the women’s 25m pistol team event.
shooting: Aishwari Pratap Singh Tomar, Swapnil Kosale and Akhil Shoran clinched India’s fifth gold medal in shooting at the 2023 Asian Games with a world record 1,769.
shooting: Palak Gulia won gold in the women’s 10m air pistol.
cricket: India claimed its first Asian Games gold in cricket by defeating Sri Lanka in the final.
Riding: After a wait of 41 years, Anush Agarwala, Hriday Vipul Chheda, Sudipti Hajela and Divyakriti Singh clinched the gold medal for India in equestrian.

Isha Singh won the silver medal for India in the women’s 10m air pistol.
Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan lost 4-6 4-6 in the men’s doubles final to claim the silver medal. India won the silver medal in the women’s 10m air pistol team event. Anoush Aggarwala won the bronze medal in the individual equestrian competition.

Rushibina Devi Naorem won the silver medal in the women’s 60kg wushu final. Isha Singh clinched the silver medal in the women’s 25m air pistol individual event.
In sailing, Neha Thakur won the silver medal in girls’ boat. The women’s 10-meter air rifle team won the silver medal, while the individual athletes contributed to the three bronze medals.
With two silver and three bronze medals, the Indian rowing team showed consistency and teamwork. The men’s lightweight double sculls and men’s eight categories added silver medals to the tally.
The bronze medals came from the men’s doubles, men’s quadruple and men’s quadruple sculls.
