Asian Games: Babulal Yadav and Lekh Ram won the bronze medal in men’s doubles rowing – Magazine Creations

The Indian duo finished third with a time of 6:50.41 seconds. Hong Kong China won the gold medal with a time of 6:44.20 seconds, while Uzbekistan won the silver medal with a time of 6:48.11 seconds.

China’s Hong Kong moved to first place in the race, followed by Uzbekistan and India. The Indian duo crossed the 1,500 meters with a time of 5:05.11 seconds. Things started to heat up as the three nations battled closely and gave everything they could to get the gold medal.

But China eventually managed to take the top spot on the podium with a comfortable win.

Separately, Indian rowers clinched second place with a time of 05:43.01 in the final event of the men’s Coxed Eight at the Asian Games.

The men’s Coxed Eight team won again after the 2014 edition to win their third Hangzhou rowing medal to date.

The Indian team comprising Neeraj, Naresh Kalwania, Nitish Kumar, Charanjit Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Bhim Singh, Puneet Kumar and Ashish made a late push and took them to the silver medal by 2.84 seconds ahead of China.

Earlier in the day, Arjun Lal Ghat and Arvind Singh clinched India’s second silver medal at the Asian Games after finishing narrowly behind China in the men’s lightweight double sculls final.

In addition, the Indian women’s cricket team beat Bangladesh by 8 wickets and entered the final of the Asian Games.

So far India has won two silver and one bronze medal in the Asian Games.
