BCCI signs SBI Life as ‘Official Partner’ for three years, says Jay Shah ‘We look forward to…’ – Magazine Creations

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has partnered with insurance company SBI Life as the official partner of the cricket board’s domestic and international season for 2023-26. The deal, signed for 3 years, will come into effect from the upcoming India-Australia ODI series starting from September 22.

Honorary Secretary of BCCI, Jay Shah, noted SBI Life’s commitment to ‘Excellence’ “We are delighted to welcome SBI Life to the Board as the official partner of the BCCI’s domestic and international season over the next three years, ahead of the prestigious ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. SBI Life’s commitment to excellence is fully aligned with the vision of the BCCI for Cricket.

“We look forward to a fruitful partnership that will enhance the cricket experience for fans and players alike,” Shah added.

Meanwhile, BCCI President Roger Binny noted that the two entities are looking forward to “building a strong partnership” to take Indian cricket forward. He said, “We are happy to announce our partnership with SBI Life as the official partner of BCCI for domestic and international cricket. SBI Life has been one of the torchbearers in the insurance sector and we look forward to building a strong partnership to take Indian cricket forward.”

India faces Australia at home from September 22:

A confident Indian team will take on the Kangaroos at home in a three-match home series. The series comes soon after the Rohit Sharma-led team beat Sri Lanka in the 2023 Asia Cup final.

Notably, skipper Rohit Sharma and veteran batsman Virat Kohli have been rested from the first two ODI matches and will return in the third encounter. Moreover, wicketkeeper-batsman Rahul will take charge of the team in Rohit’s absence.
