Cricket World Cup 2023: Is ‘Mauka Mauka’ coming back and Ravindra Jadeja sees ad shoot before Ind Vs Pak match – Magazine Creations

The 2023 FIFA World Cup begins on October 5, 2023, and as always, one of the most awaited encounters will be the match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan scheduled to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.

Earlier this month, India and Pakistan faced off twice in the 2023 Asian Cup, in which the Indian team dominated its arch-rivals. The first match was over and in the second match in Colombo, Team India beat Pakistan by 228 runs in the Super 4 stage.

The World Cup’s official broadcaster – Star Sports – is planning to bring back the popular ‘Mauka Mauka’ TV advertising campaign. In a recent viral video, Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was seen posing with ‘Mauka Mauka’ model Vishal Malhotra.

Mauka Mauka is a 2015 ad campaign created by Star Sports India to promote its broadcast of the 2015 Cricket World Cup. Although initially planned as a standalone ad for the group stage match between India and Pakistan, after an overwhelming positive response, the channel introduced a series of adverts for each of India’s matches In the 2015 World Cup.

Bubblewrap Films, who then created the ad campaign, selected Vishal Malhotra to play the character of the Pakistani supporter and the ad song was recorded by Chandigarh-based singer Alamgir Khan.

Once again, Vishal Malhotra was seen shooting for the ad campaign with Ravindra Jadeja wearing the Pakistani team’s jersey.

Meanwhile, members of the Pakistan cricket team were issued Indian visas on Monday to participate in the ODI World Cup, hours after the Pakistan Cricket Board raised serious concerns with the International Cricket Council (ICC) over the delay in the national team’s travel to Hyderabad.

Pakistan last visited India for the T20 World Cup in 2016. The two arch-rivals only play each other in the Asia Cup and ICC tournaments due to tense relations between the two countries.
