ICC World Cup 2023: India is scheduled to enter the World Cup finals with its first match against Australia on October 8 in Chennai. The Rohit Sharma-led team is playing the world’s biggest tournament without any practice matches, as rain disrupted India’s friendly matches against England and Netherlands. Ahead of the first match, skipper Rohit Sharma mentioned that he wants the team to be in the right position during the 2023 ICC World Cup.
India enters the 2023 ICC World Cup with confidence as last month they lifted the 2023 Asia Cup and also defeated Australia in the bilateral ODI series by a score of 2-1. India’s top players led by Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul look to be in good form while Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav are playing some of the best spells of their careers.
