Ahead of the first ODI in Mohali, Cummins spoke in the pre-match press conference and praised the home team and said that no matter which playing XI they play, the Men in Blue will be a great team.
The Australian added that India will get an advantage in the upcoming ODI series as they will be hosting it. Cummins also added that they are looking to pick up a series win before the start of the 2023 ODI World Cup.
“India are a really good team, whoever they are in and they are obviously in form at home. Ideally, we would like to play really well and win but obviously the big things will start in a couple of weeks,” Cummins said. In the pre-match press conference before the first ODI against India.
