
MotoGP, the popular two-wheeler racing event, will be held at Buddh International Circuit in Noida from September 22 to September 24. The training sessions began on Friday, while the qualifying race and the sprint race will be held today, and the main race will be held on Sunday. .

In view of the popular event being held in the city, Noida Traffic Police has imposed some traffic restrictions. Here’s what you should know about the latest traffic advice.
Noida Police Traffic Warning for September 23:
Noida Police has now revised its earlier advisory prohibiting movement of goods carriers on Noida-Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway. The latest advisory now restricts the entry of goods carriers only between 6am to 12pm and 3pm to 10pm between Friday and Monday. Furthermore, vehicles transporting essential items such as milk, vegetables and medicines are exempt from these restrictions.

“The non-entry order previously issued for the purpose of the 2023 Trade Show from September 21 to 25 and the MotoGP event from September 22 to 24 has been amended. Now, from September 22 to 25, the non-entry (order) will be implemented from 6 a.m. to 12 noon and from 3 p.m. to 10 pm,” Noida Traffic Police noted on Friday. This applies to heavy, medium and light categories of cargo carriers.
Noida Police also warned that any violation of the latest order will be subject to punishment under Section 32 of the Police Act, 1861.
Traffic police advise using Google Maps:
The Traffic Police advised commuters to use mapping apps like Mappls Map, My India or Google Maps or call the police helpline at 9971009001 for any queries or assistance during this period.
