Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused the United States and the West of continuing to “fuel the conflicts” that “divide humanity” while remaining conspicuously silent on the country’s war in Ukraine in a fiery speech on Saturday, the fifth day of United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York.
“The US and its subordinate Western collective continue to fuel conflicts that artificially divide humanity into hostile blocs and prevent the achievement of general goals,” Lavrov said. “They are doing everything they can to prevent the formation of a genuine multipolar world order.”
“They’re trying to force the world to play by their own self-centered rules,” he said.
