Sreesanth gets legal notice over ‘proven’ swearing allegations against Gautam Gambhir: Report – Magazine Creations

The heated exchange between India’s World Cup-winning players Gautam Gambhir and S Sreesanth during the Legends League Cricket (LLC) has turned more serious than expected as an NDTV report claimed that the LLC commissioner has issued a legal notice to S Sreesanth over the post-match bout against Gautam Gambhir. The incident that took place during the LLC match between India Captials and Gujarat Giants saw a heated exchange between the two senior players with S Sreesanth claiming that Gautam Gambhir called him a ‘middleman’.

Post the match, S Sreesanth released a video on social media platform Instagram sharing details of his exchange with Gautam Gambhir. The LLC commissioner was not happy that S Sreesanth took the matter to social media and noted that it was a “breach of contract”, the report said.

Internal investigation by the LLC

Amid the intense war of words between S Sreesanth and Gautam Gambhir over an incident that took place at a match, the LLC issued a statement to address the issue and said that an “internal investigation” would be conducted and any evidence of “misconduct” would be “sternly dealt with”. “.

This development comes as the issue escalates on social media, where S Sreesanth accused Gautam Gambhir of being disrespectful towards him and using bad words. In a mysterious post, Gautam Gambhir posted a smiling picture on Instagram and captioned it, “Smile when the whole world revolves around caring!”

Gambhir’s Instagram post further angered S Sreesanth, who then asked Gambhir if he was above the Supreme Court. You have gone above and beyond as an athlete and a brother, and above all, you represent the people. However, you keep getting into conflicts with every cricketer. What is with you? All I did was smile and watch, and you called me a reformer? seriously? Are you above the Supreme Court? “You have no authority to speak like this and say whatever you want.”

2013 IPL spot-fixing scandal

The word ‘fixer’ is insulting to S Sreesanth as the former Indian pacer was banned for life by the BCCI’s disciplinary committee in 2013 after he was found to be involved in the IPL points-fixing scandal. The scandal that rocked the richest cricket league in the world is still ongoing as one of the darkest chapters in the history of Indian cricket. S Sreesanth did not accept the BCCI ruling and approached the Supreme Court, which reduced the duration of his ban to 7 years in 2019.
