The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that the final batch of tickets for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-finals and final will be released on November 9.

The knockout stage of the tournament, which includes the semi-finals and final, begins on November 15.

How can I get World Cup tickets for the semi-finals and final?

Tickets for the main matches – the first semi-final on November 15, the second semi-final on November 16, and the deciding final on November 19 – will be available for purchase starting November 9 at 8pm.

Fans can purchase them from the official ticket website at This is the last chance for eager fans to enjoy the excitement of the World Cup live and see the new champion crowned.

Who will play in the semi-finals?

India, South Africa and Australia are the teams that have qualified for the semi-finals. The first semi-final, to be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, will feature India. The Men in Blue team ranks first in the points table. No other team can surpass them.

Rohit Sharma will lead his team to play with the fourth team on the points table. At the moment, three teams are competing for fourth place: New Zealand, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The second semi-final will be held at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. It will be held between South Africa and Australia.

New Zealand’s next match

New Zealand are scheduled to take on Sri Lanka in Bengaluru on November 9. The New Zealanders are eyeing a place in the semi-finals of the ICC World Cup 2023 while the Sri Lanka Lions are targeting a place in the top eight in this cricket tournament. Securing a place will also ensure their participation in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, hosted by Pakistan.

Next for Pakistan and Afghanistan

Afghanistan will play against South Africa on November 10. The outcome of the match will not matter much for the Proteas, who will remain in second or third place, regardless of what happens at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Pakistan will face England on November 11 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. England will be looking to overcome the Men in Green to finish higher in the points table. Babar Azam’s sons must win the match to have a chance to qualify for the semi-finals.
